  • Freelancers

Bill clients after every project without juggling templates, bank e-transfers, and sticky-note follow-ups.

  • Consultants

Send clear invoices with line items, collect online, and keep retainer-style work from going stale unpaid.

  • Small service businesses

Keep a simple client list, track who is late, and let automatic reminders protect your cash flow.

Features

Invoice, collect, and remind — without the bloat

Everything you need to bill online and get paid. Nothing you have to learn for tax season.

  • Invoices that look professional

Add line items, set a due date, and email a clean invoice your client can pay without creating an account.

  • A Stripe pay link on every invoice

Clients pay securely by card. When Stripe confirms the payment, the invoice is marked paid automatically.

  • Reminders that send themselves

Still unpaid? Duebird follows up on the due date, then again at +3 and +7 days — so you never send an awkward chase email.

  • A dashboard for what you're owed

See outstanding balances, overdue aging, and what's coming due, so you know who still owes you at a glance.

Questions, answered

Straight answers about payments, reminders, and who Duebird is for.

Who is Duebird for?

Freelancers, consultants, and small service businesses who need simple invoice software to bill clients, collect online payments, and follow up when invoices are overdue — without a full accounting suite.

How do clients pay invoices online?

Each invoice includes a secure Stripe payment link. Clients open the link, pay by card, and Duebird marks the invoice paid when Stripe confirms the payment.

Do my clients need an account?

No. Your client gets an email with a secure payment link and pays by card — no login, no account, and nothing to install. The whole flow takes a minute.

What happens when a client pays?

The payment is processed securely by Stripe. As soon as Stripe confirms it, the invoice is automatically marked paid and its scheduled reminders stop.

When do automatic payment reminders go out?

For unpaid invoices, reminders are scheduled on the due date, three days later, and seven days later. You can see sent vs scheduled reminders on the invoice detail page.

Is this a full accounting tool?

No. Duebird focuses on online invoicing, Stripe payment collection, and automatic payment reminders — not bookkeeping or tax filing. Keep your accountant's tools for that.

How does Duebird handle privacy?

We collect only what we need to run the product (account, client, and invoice data). Primary data is stored in Canada. Read the Privacy Policy for PIPEDA details and how Stripe and Resend process data on our behalf.
